Warranty Policy

This policy applies to all KOSPET products purchased through official global channels. It is designed to protect consumers' legitimate rights while standardizing our after-sales service processes. All terms comply with international trade norms and local consumer protection laws; in case of conflict, local laws shall prevail.

1. Scope of Application

This policy applies exclusively to products purchased through:
  • KOSPET Official Independent Websites (Global sites)
  • Authorized Offline Retail Stores

For products purchased via third-party retailers or non-official stores on e-commerce platforms (e.g., unauthorized Amazon/eBay sellers), please contact the seller directly. KOSPET reserves the right to adjust these terms based on regional regulations.

2.Warranty Period: "1 Year + 1-Month Grace Period"

KOSPET provides a 1-year limited warranty plus a 1-month grace period (to cover shipping/logistics) for all qualified products.

Warranty Calculation Rules:

  • Activation within the 1-month grace period: The warranty starts from the activation date.
    • Example: Purchased Jan 1, activated Jan 5 → warranty valid until Jan 4 of the following year.
  • Activation after the 1-month grace period: The warranty starts on the last day of the grace period (Purchase Date + 1 Month).
    • Example: Purchased Jan 1, activated March 1 → Warranty valid from Feb 1 to Jan 31 of the following year.

3. Service Types & Procedures

3.1 Quality Issues (Free Replacement)

For confirmed manufacturing defects within the warranty period, KOSPET provides a free replacement with a brand-new product.
  1. Contact Support: Provide proof of purchase, SN (Serial Number), and fault photos/videos.
  2. RMA Issuance: Upon approval, a unique Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number will be issued.
  3. Return & Inspection: Return the faulty product as guided (KOSPET covers return shipping for quality issues).
  4. Replacement: A new device will be shipped within 7 working days after receipt and confirmation of the defect.

3.2 Non-Quality Issues (Paid Services)

For damage caused by personal use, accidents, or out-of-warranty products, we offer:

Trade-In Program: For devices with non-manufacturing damage or those out of warranty, users may exchange their damaged device for a brand-new replacement by paying 60% of the original Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP).

Paid Repair: Professional repair at the official factory. Users will receive a transparent quotation (parts + labor) within 2 working days of application.

4. Warranty Coverage Summary

5. 7-Day Unconditional Return Policy

Returns for a full refund are accepted within 7 days of purchase, provided:
  • RMA Authorization: You must obtain an RMA number before returning.
  • Original Condition: Product must be unused, brand-new, and without physical damage.
  • Complete Packaging: All accessories, gifts, and manuals must be included. Missing items incur a fee (the higher of 15% of the product price or the retail value of the item).
  • Shipping: The user bears all return shipping costs and risks.

6. Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does NOT apply to:
  1. Products unactivated for more than 12 months after the purchase date.
  2. Replacement units (the warranty period is always based on the original purchase date).
  3. Normal wear and tear (scratches, aging of materials) or battery decay (≥80% health).
  4. Damage from force majeure (fire, flood) or unauthorized disassembly/modifications.
  5. Products used for medical or commercial purposes.
  6. Devices without a valid SN or proof of purchase

7. Product Care & Maintenance

  • Post-Water Care: Rinse with fresh water and dry thoroughly after use in seawater to prevent salt corrosion.
  • Exercise Maintenance: Wipe off sweat residue to prevent corrosion of metal parts.
  • Temperature & Chemicals: DO NOT use in hot showers, saunas, or high-speed water flows. Avoid detergents or soaps. NEVER operate buttons underwater.
  • Charging: Use original accessories only. If idle for over a month, keep the battery at 50%–70%.
